Nicola and Lauren spent Sunday at the eXcel centre in London
This weekend Nicola and Lauren spent Sunday at the eXcel centre in London at 100% Optical in London (The UK’s largest optical exhibition) buying in new frames for the store!
They spent the day meeting our current suppliers and looking at new ranges getting ideas for our upcoming spring collections.
In between meetings with suppliers the girls found time to squeeze in a catwalk show, a glass of prosecco and a makeover with a Max Factor make-up artist who was there promoting a new range of Max Factor frames!
One of the stands had a roulette wheel where you could ‘spin to win’ your order for free if the ball landed on your number. Unfortunately our luck wasn’t in this time but we did come away with a ‘build-a-bear’ dog as a consolation prize… hopefully we will have better luck in the prize draw to win a bottle of Moet champagne when it’s drawn this week instead!!
Nicola found out she’d made it to the big screen when one of the exhibitors was showing an interview she did with them last year discussing their products! Of course we had to get a picture of her next to her on-screen debut. Would you believe us if we told you a few passers-by even stopped and asked for her autograph!? No? Good job because the last part may have been stretching the truth… there is always next year for that though.
We’re also really excited to announce that we have updated and improved our Radley range and the frames are due in store this week for you all to come and take a look at! As well as this, we have expanded our current cocoa mint range (which includes stunning frames embedded with Swarovski crystal elements – not to be missed!)
Due to their popularity last year, we decided to re-stock the gorgeous 2017 edition of Elle sunglasses. These are a fab accessory for your spring/ summer wardrobe ladies and they’re not something you want to miss!
For all you gents, we have a great selection of Nike, RayBan and Caterpillar frames to choose from instore. This includes some of the Nike Flexon range where the bridge and arms are completely flexible – Brilliant for anyone who is a little, how can we say, reckless with their specs!
