Olivers10K run
On Sunday 18th June our optician, Oliver Gatehouse, ran the Port Sunlight 10k to help raise money for Diabetes UK. He has spent the last few weeks in training for the big event and all his hard work certainly paid off when he finished with an overall time of 52 minutes and 27 seconds – That’s quicker than the time it takes to complete 2 eyes tests!
Of course there for support were his two biggest fans, his children Isla& Cam.Along with Nicola his wife, they kept moving around the route making sure they were on hand to give plenty of high fives as Olly made his way around the course.
He even made it into the Liverpool Echo enjoying the sunshine after he had made it past the finish line!
